Set Up ~ Day One
Here we GLOW again as we get ready to celebrate our 31st season!
Behind the scenes, we'll be moving into Nose Creek Regional Park, November 9th - 13th. That way, we'll be all ready for all our dedicated volunteers starting bright and early on Saturday, November 14th. Registration for new volunteers is 8:30 am, so we are ready to start promptly at 9 am. Already registered, see you at 9am!
Did you know it takes roughly 1,500 hours of volunteer time to set up just so we can open on December 1st? That works out to approximately 375 hours per weekend?
Bring your family, your friends, your neighbours. Whether you can attend every day, one day, or even just a few hours, it all adds up to a GLOWing experience!
We are so excited for this season, and look forward to seeing as many new and returning faces this year. Remember, we simply can't GLOW without you!

Set Up - Day Two

LIGHT UP THE NIGHT!
5:30pm

We'll be gathering round the tree to sing some carols with the Airdrie Community Choir, followed by the countdown to tree lighting and official opening of our 30th GLOWing season!

Back again is our Candy Cane Run, with our local Fire Department, who will be handing out candy canes to all in attendance.

It's that movie moment that brings a community together to celebrate the season. We can't wait to see you!

Meet our friends, from the Airdrie Fire Department, Airdrie RCMP, Airdrie EMS, Airdrie Health Foundation, STARS Air Ambulance, and Calgary Search and Rescue!
Members from each of these departments will be filling the various volunteer positions this evening. Make sure to say hello and let them know what a GLOWing job they are doing.
They'll also be setting up booths where you can learn more about each of these valuable services. Some will even be bringing their vehicles for you to tour!

Join us as we take a step back in time with our friends from Nose Creek Valley Museum, in the nostalgic style of skating around the pond.

Bring your family and friends, along with your skates, to enjoy skating amidst beautifully lit Holiday Displays! Then warm yourself by one of our Fire Pits, while sipping on a cup of hot chocolate or apple cider.

Don't have skates?

Nose Creek Valley Museum has you covered with FREE rentals at the skate shack onsite. Please note there will be no sticks or hockey permitted this evening.

Also note that fireworks take place off site, at Ed Eggerer Park in Airdrie, but can still be seen from Nose Creek Park amidst the displays. Helpful for those who do not enjoy the loud noises, especially our four legged friends!
