Fire Pits

Our fire pits are always roaring to keep you toasty while you stroll the park!  Make it a date, and pack in your hot dogs, marshmallows and roasting sticks! Thank you to Airdrie Dodge, Canadian Tire Airdrie, and Alberta Blue Cross for Sponsoring this popular activity!

We also offer private bookings at our large fire pit! The Airdrie Festival of Lights is the perfect place for you to entertain your group, staff, or family get together. Pack in your own food, marshmallows, etc. and enjoy a night at the festival. Walk the lights, take a ride on the train, enjoy a warm beverage, visit Santa’s Gift Shop, and more!
Price $15 per person, paid in advance. Minimum 15 people. Includes one train ticket and beverage for everyone in your group. Email info@airdrielights.com for more details.

Santa's Giftshop

Back by popular demand, is Santa’s Gift Shop! Located just inside the Poinsettia Arch, at the Main Entrance to the park. We are open every night from 6 pm - 9pm, December 1st to 31st, weather permitting. Do your holiday shopping right in the park! We’ve got tons of great gift ideas for every budget. Sponsored by Cobblestone Creek & Lanark Landing, two Airdrie Melcor Developments.

Food & Beverages

We offer a full selection of hot beverages to keep you warm on those chilly winter nights.  Be sure to visit our Concession, under the picnic shelter for your warm cup of Hot Chocolate, Coffee or Hot Apple Cider!  Price remains $2/cup! 
Bottled water, canned pop, cotton candy, and a selection of chips is also available.
Then sip and visit at one of our two fire pits to stay warm!

Skating

Nose Creek Pond, located within the Airdrie Festival of Lights displays, is a popular skating destination every winter.

The pond is operated and managed by the City of Airdrie, Parks & Recreation Department. The AFOL is unable to provide information about the thickness of the ice or suitability for skating.  Please direct your skating inquiries to the City of Airdrie, Outdoor Rinks Department at 403-948-8800.
